In partnership with the SEL School District, we are launching a campaign to relocate and replace the current Sunview playground. Next summer, the district will be redoing the blacktop and wrapping a car lane around the old playground to be used for student pick-up and drop-off.

The new playground location will be in the back field behind the school.

The district has committed to allocating a to-be-determined dollar amount to all 3 SEL elementary schools for the purposed of updating the 20+ year old equipment. However, playgrounds are EXPENSIVE and the Sunview PTA will be hosting a variety of additional fundraisers to help supplement the cost of the new playground. Stay tuned!

This learning space complete with a pavilion, picnic tables, and a greenhouse will provide a much-needed open air space to be able to learn and explore in a natural environment throughout more of the school year in varying weather conditions.
